Hey thanks, I will see if I can get one on the way so when my clutch gets here, I can get at it.

Finally got some rims coming for my cart. Coinstar is my new friend, with all the change I had lying around my rims came to 26 bucks shipped to my door for all 4. Ended up going with the ITP delta steel rims. I'll have to thank another member on here for letting me know about those. ITP Delta Rims part number 37-1338 for Siver 12"x7" 4 on 4. Should be here friday. So hopefully I can finish my lift this weekend and get it going here soon.

That is great, won`t be long now. I went to Advance Auto and bought a Thrust Turbo Muffler, cut my dual pipes and ran them together into the turbo muffler, cut the noisy way down, to a point where I think I will be able to live with it, took my power kit ( spring & inner shiv ) out of the rearend , trading it to a friend for his stock shiv and spring. Hopefully it will gear me up some, to give me a little more topend speed. As soon as I can get the other shiv, I will get to see how loud the cart will be runing down the trail.

Can you happen to see if you have the tension right on the belt, like watch it while your running to see if your getting both your clutches to max out? Im no expert on these clutches but if its a bit loose I dont think it would give the biggest ratio. I wasnt sure of the tension needed so my motor mounts are slotted so I'll get it one way or another.

My v-twin was adjustable (mounts slotted) as well. I had mine adjusted to where there was about 1 inch or so slack in the belt (up and down) between the clutches. I had to try different settings to get mine right so the drive clutch would slip at idle. Just be careful. If it is too tight the cart will take off as soon as you start it. Jack the rearend of the cart up and use jack stands when adjusting and testing.

Got my shiv put on today, helped a bunch with top speed. I tryed hill climbing with it. There is plenty of torque. I can pull a hill steep anough to pull the frount wheels. The noisy is not to bad, but not real good either. Going to try to find some sound deading matial to help quieting down the engine department. As far as the belt tension, I slotted the engine plate I made, but the there is least than 1/2 in movement available for the engine, ( TIGHT ). The belt I used was perfect, at wide open, the belt on the clutch is all the way out on the edge. I am going to use her for awhile, and decide if I will live with the noisy or make another change. I know one thing, there will be no problem pulling in a deer this year. :)

That is some good news. I was worried my cart wasnt gonna snappy with the 25" tires. Sounds like I dont have to worry about that to much.

Made some progress over the weekend. Got mostly everything welded up and its about ready for some paint. I then have to tweak the plastic a bit to get everything to fit up right but I managed to only have to lift it 2" for a grand total of 5 1/2" with the 25" tires. I have Yamaha Blaster shocks in the rear which are 2" longer then stock and bolted right in, and the front shocks will be the old rear shocks (have yet to mount those). The plastic in the front got a body lift to help clear my tires and allow the cart sit as low as possible, and the rear is going to get trimmed and cleaned up with some pacer bolt on fender flares along with the front. Just so happens my buddy has a junk truck with those mounted to them so they are freebies.
