Default I'm in !!!

I can finally post in the Big Block section!

Woooh Whooo !!!!

I didn't even know Subaru made a Robins big V-twin, But yesterday I bought one off of my local Graigslist

I thought it was a misprint Until I googled the model # EH72 ...

It is a 720cc 25hp Engine....

My plan is to put this in the 2000 Workhorse. I will be needing help and advice.

Right on ScottyB What size crankshaft ? Did it come with electric start and some kind of wiring? You are going to love it! You'll have that thing in and running in no time. Later Dave

Hello, Dave. Yes it came complete with starter, external oil cooler, air cleaner, and muffler. It was used to power a little imported sand cart. They experimented with this engine but went with a 35hp ... So engine has very low hours. It has a 1 1/8" shaft on it and I am in process of looking for an economical drive clutch.... Can the 94C stand up to this? I plan on leaving the engine pretty stock. The specs say 25hp @ 3600 rpm.

Great, all the stuff you need except the clutch. I could be wrong (joyce say's I am most of the time) with a 1 1/8" shaft you will need the (very expensive) Comet 1190 clutch. I think the 94c and even the better 780 are for 1" shafts. I'm shure someone more knowledgable will set this clutch question straight. Remember...Lots of pic's. Dave

i don't think the 780 comes with a 1-1/8 bore? less of a clutch the 94c does come in 1-1/8

Joyce went to school with my wife There are 1 1/8 options for a few of the comets. Some of which are half the money of the imfamous 1190. One of the questions are what is a safe RPM limit on the robins 25hp once the Govenator is thrown out of the window?
