| i do have to find out my shaft size the engine is in a cub cadet 2060 tractor that i got for $30.00 and have not taken it apart yet. |

| i seen where everone has taken the lincage of the rearend do that do anything in the rear end? do i have to take it out of the rearend? thanks bill |

| everybody has a view on this, many carts out there are running with the gov unhooked in the axle with no problems. i leave them in unless your going to be running high rpms, but if there comes a time that you want to do a gear change or any reason that you need to get in the case then pull it for sure. no reason to have parts flying around if your not needing them. it comes down to if you don't mind doing the work? then pull it out. its not hard to do, there is a thread some were here that explains how to do it. thats my two cents |

| no, that would take some work to try to use the gov on the axle! just run your cable right to the engine. |
