Default New to me used Vanguard for my Marathon

I picked up a used 16 HP Vanguard today. Going to replace the Ski Doo engine in my EZ GO Marathon.

The engine came out of a carpet cleaning machine. The hour meter showed 3300 hours. It has a 1 in shaft so should work OK. It has been sitting for a few years in a mini storage unit.

The engine numbers are
Model 303447
Type 0375-01 1880
Code 94010611 (Made in 1994)

It has the electric & pull start.

I turned it over with a socket on the flywheel nut & it was a little stiff. I put some Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders & let it sit. Turned it over again & it turned very easy. I connected my spark checker to both cylinders & got spark on both. The electric starter turns when jumped to a battery.
Cylinder on the starter side has 150 PSI compression & 20% leakdown.
Cylinder on oil filter side has 160 PSI compression & 60% leakdown. Carb looks clean & jets are open.
It didn't come with a fuel pump so I will try an EZGO pump. He said they used an electric fuel pump on the carpet cleaning setup. Did they use differant needle jets with electric pumps?
I plan on bench testing tomorrow if I get time.

Put the EZGO fuel pump on, changed the exhaust to an old Vanguard muffler I had checked the carb & started her up. Runs smooth & idles fine.
Need to address the clutch issue & its ready for install.

I am putting my clutch questions here that I started on Billys Buggle engine swap thread.

I tried banging on my drive clutch like Pizzamakeer showed in his pictures but no luck. Is it a std thread or right handed. If I get it apart it looks like a roll pin holds the sheeve on the shaft. Can you get the sheeve off so you have just the shaft. If so what is the ID size needed for the 1in Vanguard shaft. Has anyone machined a EZGO clutch for a Vanguard crank.

the thread is std right hand, you may need to make a tool that fits between he three arms [like an old socket] and use a impact on it.
i can't help with the boring, never did it.

i looked for the socket i used but i can't find it, but i took it and set it on top and marked the were the arms were and cut slots in it so it slip over the center and down over the arms. if that made any sense.
