Re: 20hp Honda Belt ques
lol well i'm not buying a kit when i can build the swing arm carrier. So i have to figure out what belt to use. I talked to Tom at CPP and he said i would have to measure it. I dont' know if that was kinda a blow off or he was being serious... I would guess he was being serious from all the good talk i have read on here.

Re: 20hp Honda Belt ques
So basically your trying to get Tom to explain what you need and how to do it without paying for his knowledge and advice, or his time to explain all this to you. Oh I see no reason why he would "blow you off", truth be told he didn't. Nobody can answer that question until you have built your engine cradle, we have no idea where you plan on putting your engine. I can think of a few places though.
Good luck |

Re: 20hp Honda Belt ques
WOW.... glad i have think skin and don't take offense to stuff. lmao I just ordered some parts from Tom actually so I have no problem paying the man for his sweat labor experience and everything i missed. As you can see i'm new to the cart world... As for buying a cradle i doubt that happens cause i realize it takes some skill to build the cradle and keep everything perfectly aligned but I have the tools and ability to build it so why would I pay for that part.. I was simply trying to figure out what belt i needed and got the answer that it's not that simple. He told me once it's built to measure and give them a call which i will do. The only other option would be to buy a belt and back build. I appreciate you giving me crap that's what makes this site fun...
