ok tonite is design nite for the Van Gaurd header.. this is the first let me know what you think

i think this is the one we are going to use as a standard header and ill post pics tomorrow with the super trap style muffler

Dude... I don't see how that is an efficient header. The rear cyl. don't have a chance. Jus' Sayin'...

this is my thought:

some of the other guys the back cyl goes straight in maybe like 2" long

this is like a tri way header on a V8...

where the front and rear cyl meet they are equel lenght and the front one works like a vacumm pulling the rear cyl with...

they are 1 1/4 now and will dump into a 2 1/2 super trap

Jus' Sayin', but there is gonna be some serious heat on the second bend. I still think it's to much on #2. I think with a couple beers and another piece of tube, you could sweeten it up some.
