24 hp honda wiring
looking for a wiring diagram to wire up the motor, i have missed place it. I thought we pinched a wire but it looks like I just burned up the ignition for no reason so i would like to double check the wiring to see if i messed it up when it was first done ,dont know how its ran fine up to this point ??
thanks |

Re: 24 hp honda wiring
Here it is. If you are using an auto ign switch with a ground, connect the white/blue wire to grd on the switch to kill the engine. Glen |

Re: 24 hp honda wiring
The stop diode kills the ign when grounded so if it got bat voltage it might have fried your ign in the engine. I am noy up on that stuff. See if you can get hold of Frank (WALKINTALL) he may be able to help. Good luck.

Re: 24 hp honda wiring
Should have just smoked the diode between the coils.

Re: 24 hp honda wiring
That would be good for him. I chose to use a large toggle switch for my kill I thought in an emergency it may be easier to slap the switch than fumble with a key to shut it down.

Re: 24 hp honda wiring
Thats good Mike. See if you can download the diagram I posted and keep for future reference. I printed a few copies just in case the comp fails I'll still have it. Good luck.
