Default Big Block Wiring ques...

Ok so i already have my key switch and wiring together and lengthed. I was curious if anyone had a link or diagram of how to wire in lights to a 20 hp honda? Also how the hell does this thing recharge battery? Does it do it just by being connected or do i need to loop back? The **** owners manual is crap....

Thanks for your help JD

or would this diagram work that i found for the 24hp honda?

if the engine was from or meant to run a generator it may not even have a charging circuit.

well after i pulled the model number GX620K1QAF1 i was at first a little concerned once you said that... But it says it has a 20 amp charging system, i'm not engine god by any means so if i'm not mistaken that might (idk) mean it does.... Give me some feedback cause i honestly don't know.... Thanks for the initial reply and helping me out... James

You didn't say if you were having a battery charging problem? A simple check is to connect a voltmeter to the battery and run the engine. The voltage should increase while running? Otherwise post the wiring diagram for the motor and somebody here will explain how it charges
