Default advise on what to use g9

HI all im new to this site an im looking for some advise on what kind of motor to use and clutch that will work i have read alot of things in this forum so any little advise would help. O ya my cart is a yamaha g9 and im looking for a motor that will have some speed and also be quit bc we are a cart legal community where i live so kinda wana sneek around lol thanks all.

Ya that is what i want but kinda on a budget and looking for maby something used or what i can use. That kit is the sh## to and would b awsome to. Also i keep seeing these engines with tapperd shaft and stright keyd. So if i have this on my stock motor is tapperd and if i found motor with straight shaft i would have to get a comet clutch to fit it.

Read some of the build threads and then think long and hard about how handy you are. Those of use who built are own kits are pretty handy. I was looking for a used briggs motor for 8 months before I found mine.

ok finally found a briggs 16hp twin im pretty handy and have all i need lined up the only thing is what would should be the space between the clutches i have a comet for my engine clutch just wondering how tight or lose the belt should be thanks
