That is awesome. Probably not a speed demon.

I'm surprised nobody from BGW has built one of those. |

Re: Found a diesel golf cart
There is a thread on a diesel cart. Someone else used a 3 cyl. Kubota and added a turbo and intercooler. The problem was the max RPM was still only 3400 rpm. That's a little slower than a stock gas cart. It could probably pull stumps, or a boat...slowly.

Re: Found a diesel golf cart
Some high speed gearing would fix that

Re: Found a diesel golf cart
I'd love a diesel, fill it up once a summer I think. Problem is I know a guy with a 27hp kawasaki I could get and I don't have a source for a diesel or my lawn mower would have one in it. Cool carts though! Think I would have minimum 25s on a diesel.

Re: Found a diesel golf cart
I saw a few Diesel carts at the Frankfurt airport in Germany. Not sure of the make but they were used to pull luggage around and they were very quite with no smoke. It made me consider a diesel build up.

Re: Found a diesel golf cart
I keep waiting for the Punson v-twin to become available here but its a long wait. Other engines are very expensive unless you find a good used, and most are liquid cooled which adds a lot to the install in work and weight that I don't feel is necessary.
