Default Club Car Rear End Swap

Does anyone know of any other manufacturer that has a driver side pulley system that has a width about the same as a club car rearend?

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish but if you have a club car and want the driven shaft on the left side you can just flip the rear end around. I did it on mine and it works fine. You will probably want a set of high speed gears though as I have been told reverse is a lower ratio.

I am putting a snow mobile motor in it, not real crazy but guessing about 60 to 70 hp. I have stretched the cart into a four seater and lifted, why did you flip the rear end, what are you running. Do you have any idea how much high speed gears are? Have you tried this or just heard about it? Thanks for replying.

I flipped the rear end in my club car and put a Ninja 500 engine in it. I had to put high speed gears in it but now top out at about 65. Check the site sponsers for gears. I think gears are about $200.

Nice--Do you have any pics, like to see how you did that. How long have you been running this thing. Building this for my wife so reliability is a must, if you know what I mean.

Nice--So the gears aren't directionally cut, huh. I am going to investigate this some more. Sure would make my life a lot easier. Do you know of anyone else that has done this?

Yes gears are directional. You are flipping the rear end not installing the gears backwards.

I had 6:1 gears in my carryall. I think they were about 250.00.
