Here are a few of the pics from the on-line auction. The seller noted that the rocker shafts were "heavy duty". Anybody have additional information on this? Also, It's a 2 barrel carb apparently.

Thanks newguy! Paypal tried to screw me out of this dream. They were trying to hold the sellers $ which meant he wasn't going to ship the engine. That's something considering neither he or I knew they were going to do that. The seller told me they were anti-gun too. Something like they wouldn't approve charges for ammunition purchases. Never knew that.

Yeah, I did get my money back. The seller was a total flake though. I paid him immediately via paypal and he claimed he could not get the money from his account. Paypal was his preferred payment method. I told him I'd gladly pay him however he wanted. He reversed the payment but of-course the credit did not post for 3 days. In the meantime the A-hole must have sold it to someone else because I couldn't reach him after the credit posted.

Oh-well. You win some and you lose some right? The search continues.

Hi again boys. Well, I finally pulled it off. I actually have a 23HP Kohler in my garage. It's still attached to a Snapper Zrider and runs great. Next up...8" a-arm lift kit and 23" all-trails on 12" wheels. This should get it high enough to clear the new engine...right?
