The company that I work for has a Grounds dept and this engine was in a Toro zero turn mower and it sucked a valve and taken out a piston, cylinder, rod and damaged one of the heads. So I had the block sleeved the crank checked and polished, bought 2 new rods, 2 new pistons, 1 complete new head, had a valve job done on the other head, put a new cam and oil pump. So everything inside the engine is brand new. Re-assembled it and had the starter rebuilt so it is like a brand new engine. I would love to run it just not sure about all the wires(it all unplugs from the mower harness) just do not know anyone that can tell me what I need to hook up and what I do not need.
Maybe someone on here From the northeast Fl area knows and I could take a drive there to get it figured out. The reason I am about to think about trading it for a Briggs is that I have everything elsesitting here waiting to be installed, a Strech front end, progressive shocks for the rear, tires(still need 12" wheels) 780 clutch, a painted bodyand a set of seats already covered and I want to get to building this thing.
I want to start on this thing but I need the engine issues straightened out before I start.

I'm too far away else I could help trade you out of that FI motor There are a bunch of GC nuts in Fla.... you keep looking, you're bound to find one
Have you tried to google up a wiring diagram for that motor yet?

Man, sure wish I was closer. Unforetunately that system is so new theres not many who know much about it.
Did you get the ECM, evap cannister and fuel pump? Most everything else is on the engine. Doesn't do any good without those parts.

Scotty, theres nothing specific to the systems itself...may be a kohler service manual will have it.

downloaded and printed the complete service manual and parts manual for that engine off the Kohler website. Maybe I just need to sit down and read the electrical chapter and try to figure it out
