Default do i have a charging system(stator/alternator)

i have two brigss modle #294447 and #350445 how do find out if they have charging systems.about how many horse power also.

The info is in the Big Block Talk "stickies" section, Briggs and Stratton Numbering.....your 29 ci -7 has an alternator, your 35 ci-5 does not.
The 35 ci is 20 HP, I'm guessing the 29 ci is 18 hp.

what about horse powers on the motors im trying decide whitch to use.can i add a alternater to the bigger one.(350445)

I am no expert on the charging systems in these carts, there are diagrams of the electricals in the "stickies" section. I believe it could be easily done, you would just need the coils, rectifiers etc from B&S or a donor motor, maybe the 18 hp. They work off the flywheel and I think they are the same for the 18 and the 20. Maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in......
