Honda 24hp purchase
will an engine used for generators etc run a different carb than one that's in motion or for vehicular purposes. I know the common model Honda used is the gx670... But is that it? Can the carbs be swapped or is it a non issue?

Re: Honda 24hp purchase
Non-issue on the carb. Output shafts on most generator models can be a big issue trying to find a clutch!

Re: Honda 24hp purchase
great.. i picked it up today, looks like it was a gx670 used for an insulation blower, has a 1 1/8" shaft. I'll just have to figure out the throttle and choke linkage and remove the govner..
thanks |

Re: Honda 24hp purchase
Good for you I built a Honda 24 and that engine is awsome. Lets see a build thread! Throttle linkage should not be a problem. Good luck Dave
