Bring the model number to any lawn service center... Most likely can locate the intake styles on a schematic or microfische. Might want to check with CPP and see if he has any matches or aftermarket line ups!!!

To my knowledge everything that's been done so far have been one-off customs, but there is talk of deveolping some. Have no idea what kind of pricing they will be. Smallblock dueled out Wilson a while back, might check his thread out!

I will say it again (sorry if it offends anyone) I would use a single carb to match the CC of the engine (build or have one built) an intake to fit your stock manifold. A single would be much less accelerator cable linkage work and you would not beleive the throttle responce:thumbup But you must take into consideration, engine to seat space/air cleaner space and the costs. I would realy like to "prefab" units for members, but there are just to many facters. Good luck Dave

Smallblock450SL, I think you got me wrong..

I am simply adding, or looking to add, the stock two barrel carb
with 90 turn down, into a double port stock manifold.

There are pics of them all over the place, and the part I need is the
dual port (one for each cylinder) manifold, the turn down, and the
carb, plus spacers and gaskets..(I may be calling it a "turn down" and it may be called a spacer)

I am converting an NG/LP unit to gas. I think the single barrel carb that
comes on the lower CC Vanguard's , like the 18's or so (I am guessing) would bolt right on my manifold, and I am going to run that setup temporarily..
But ultimately, I am looking at getting the correct amount of fuel to
this motor..It is a 627 CC 38000 series block.

Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth. That Briggs stuff can be expensive. Good luck, and I see anything, I'll let you know.

Hey I'll tell you what, thanks for your response.. I appreciate it.

I might just wind up running it on propane..I have all the goodies to do it.
The high output venturi and solenoid, throttle body, etc..

What I don't have is a fearlessness about gases I cannot see. Anything that will blow up, but you can't see it...no thanks.

propane will let you run angles that the stock two barrell will not. reason dave switch and I am thinking of switching to a single mikuni. I now have a extra 40mm mikuni CV on my bench - spare for my 500cc quad. hmm
