EZ-GO Tubeframe Snowmo Longtravel build
Here are some pics of the project I started a month ago.... Cart alreddy had the Yamaha 440 sled motor in it. When I pulled the bodywork off the cart to start working on a roll cage the stock frame (94-up electric ezgo) was falling apart. Building everything from scratch now except the front end, that is getting beefed up a bit with new J-arms to fit the Fox 2.5 coilovers...
Enjoy! |

Re: EZ-GO Tubeframe Snowmo Longtravel build
swinger, rear end, motor..
the motor ran great when I bought the cart, but after pulling the intakes out to put some new reeds in, I noticed something wasn't right... One piston was melted and had lost the top ring... Motor is at my motor builder getting some porting and headwork should be a fast ******* when I get it back, already have a performance vintage pipe for it! |

Re: EZ-GO Tubeframe Snowmo Longtravel build
Check out this piston that was in the Yami Twin!!!! It was hauling pretty good with a dead hole. I was afraid the cart was going to be a little underpowered before, but with 2 good cylinders and some portwork I think it will move on out.
Got the disk brakes on last night!! 3rd pic is what I started with... It was hacked up pretty good |

Nice disk brake setup. You're gonna need them.

Re: EZ-GO Tubeframe Snowmo Longtravel build
Just an ezgo nose piece... the back will prolly have a couple aluminum panels but that is it... It should look like a golf cart coming at ya then a truggy/mini sandrail as it goes by.
Just looking to build something different for somewhat reasonable $$$$ that will beat up on Rhinos and RZRs in the sand |
