Yamaha R1 into cart - help
I'm what you would call new to the golf cart modification world. Me and my friend recently decided that for a cool summer project, we would attempt to drop a used Yamaha r1 into an old golf cart we have had in our garage for a while. We both know our way around an engine, however we know little of golf carts. What modifications will have to be done to the cart for it to withstand the power of an r1? We know we will definitely have to reinforce the axels, as well as the upgrade the suspension. We really are not sure where to start, so if you all could provide us with any useful information at all it would be appreiated greatly. I will have more information on the make and model of the cart by next week
