g 16 noise

Got my cart running with help from tom ,and shawn m thanks. Anyway i had got a 2001 g16 electric cart and a vanguard 16 hp for 400 bucks. Found a gas rear for a couple hundred got everything fabbed up motor mt , exhaust , battery tray , gas tank , starter solinoid and ignition switch. got ir running and took it for ride today. The governor on rear end is disconnected but the stock one on motor is still active. the cart runs good but when i get it to top speed it starts to shreek a little if i let off gas completly it makes the noise for about two seconds then stops . if you keep gas at sweet spot before it tops out no noise looked all over cart for something loose . It has stock gears could they be the problem maybe some suggestions or things to check would help please going to post pics tomorrow.

Is it possible it just the belt squealing?

Had my brother ride with me today saw where inside of rear clutch was hitting oil filter housing at high speed. called tom got a spacer coming should take care of problem.

Good Deal! Remote oil filter would work also and give you some additional capacity.
