Don't know exactly what rpm the engine is running at what wire is the signal wire for a tach ? does it have to be a certain type to read rpm on the briggs?

Either one will do the job, There is no signal wire since it is a magneto ignition. The tach has to have a inductive pickup that picks up spark from plug wire.

Do I have to get high rev kit to remove engine governor ? Is there any brackets that need to be fab or removed to take governor off ?Or is it really simple to take it off ?
