Default GX670 Performance Parts

http://www.parsonsracingengines.com/...formance-parts

Just thought all you Honda owners might be interested.

All of the GX390 valve springs work as well.

The 1.3:1 rocker arms give a nice performance boost, I've been running a set just shy of 6krpm for over a yr with no issues. (Valve Springs and guide plates required of course)

I also highly recommend a set of pushrods, but they aren't always necessary because if the they fail they usually only damage themselves.

Feels like more HP throughout the band. Rev's easier too.

You are taking the cam which has a 1:1 rocker arm and making it 1:3.

So you will see better breathing throughout the rpm band because of the larger valve opening.

I'll measure one when I get back to the shop tonight.

GX610, GX620 and GX670 all use the same cam. Bad idea if you ask me.

I have just purchased a LAND AND SEA dyno and will be testing the GX-670 stock motor and the each mod that is done. I have degreed the cam and flow benched the heads. next valve to piston clearance. Will keep you posted on what i find out. I have 50 of them in dune buggies and need a little more power. I do use the GX-690 also but it will be the second in line to be tested.

Did the stock rocker arm cover have to be modified? What lb. springs did you use?

At this point in time I have not use anything except stock on my test dyno motor. In fact i have not even ran the motor still cc heads and intake runners. the spring that parson has for the GX-670 does stop the valve from floating. i have them on 20 motor not and it has kept the motors alive at 4300 where i run them. more info to follow as soon as test are compleat.
