Default clonda

just some info for myself. i have money to order clonda now after selling my 4 wheeler. will the stock muffler work until i can make a custom exhaust if my cart is lifted 6" with 22" tires. i cant afford to make all changes at one time. how about distance between motor shaft center to driven shaft center and belt part number to use. im trying to get this done before deer season. do i need to level motor some or just mount it straight to swing arm.

I'm using the stock muffler, I just added a tail pipe to it. The distance between shafts you will determine when you mount the engine. When I modified the CPP engine mount, I was able to level the engine that way. Hope this helps.

What cart do you have? That will make a difference in what you have to do to the mounts and exhaust. For Yamaha g2 rear end I made my own motor mounts out of 2"x11ga sq tubing with slots milled in to allow belt tension adjustment. To level the engine I welded the front end of the 2" motor mounts under the g2 swing arm tube and the back end on top of the swing arm tube. Most carts will need a tail pipe bent up and welded to the stock muffler to avoid burning the body. I fabricated a new exhaust header and welded a car muffler to it.
