Default Kohler V-Twin engines

Why havent these motors become popular? They make them from like 5 hp all the way up to this 40 hp beast.

Height is a factor and they more race stuff for the Vanguard B&S than any other ....

I don't know about these, but a Kaw or B&S you can run high rpms with limited mods out of the box, like 5K+ rpm. They do race Kohlers, you just have to look hard and you can find performance parts and stuff....not as much as others though.

Have to say, 40hp in a cart would be fun. With 62lbs tq maybe you could run a lift and high speed gears.

Same reason everybody doesn't drive a Vette or Cadillac. Best built american made vtwin................Oh wait its the only american made commercial vtwin.

You said it, pretty sad. I love them in my lawn equipment however (Kohlers).
