clutch help
hey guys what do u think of me using a 1997 Ezgo clutch on my vanguard v-twin ? with the adapter that a sponsor sells on here

Tom at CPP really knows his stuff. He would not sell the adapter if the clutch wasn't up to the application...... personally I think those are very good clutches and tough enough for a v-twin; unless you are planning an extreme build.
The condition of your 13 yr old clutch will have some bearing on your results as well. |

well if this will be a good choice for my build i will buy it and buy the adapter....is there anyway to change the bearings in the clutch, or is that a hard job to do ? i never messed around with one
PS: not to extreme i want to climb some hills and go through some mud ect.... |

The EZGO clutch will work fine on the v-twin. It will give you about 50% of the performance of the other big block clutch options. Check the thread titled "my wifes yard cart" Start at page 21 and read 5-6 pages and you will have your info.
