MikesMotorToys 27 hp V - Twin Workhorse
Hey guys and Gals. Here is the start of what we're going to do with Xtreme's 27 hp Workhorse. Just got it yesterday and we decided to start with an ST cowl and brushguard. The existing color was a perfect match for the Factory Patriot Blue (I mean PERFECT!!!). I was also able to copy our Honda engine govenor mod and it really lit this puppy up. As delivered, she probably ran 20 to 22 mph - Now she's ripping close to 40. The 26" Mud Lites have got to go, so make me an offer. I will start on the long travel suspension and roll cage next week. The picture on the left is after the cowl replacement - picture on the right is the original cart. This baby was built very well I planned to do a complete custom paint job on her, but since the new ST cowl was a match, she'll stay Blue for now. We'll work on more additions as I get free time in the shop - Customer carts first!

Nice Mike!! The ST cowl looks fantastic on it. I bet it hauls with the gov. bypassed!! I'm looking foward to seeing the complete transformation.
PS. I would be happy to buy the wheels and tires back. Let me know price.. |

The govenor is not bypassed - we have a few tricks up our sleaves that still allows them to work - well, barely work!

Re: MikesMotorToys 27 hp V - Twin Workhorse
May have a buyer for it as it sit's - If they decide on another cart, I will continue the transformation...
ic746 - Xtremecartz built it, I purchased it from him. He gets the credit in stuffing the motor into the frame! All I have done is tweak the motor, add a hill brake release and change the front cowl / lights / bumper. (not bad for 3 hours work) OH YEA, wash off the road grime it received on the trip from Georgia to Texas! |
