near completion 'missing steps' ?
hey guys im just thinking if im missing a step to do to my cart or motor
anything u can think of for installing a big block please post im getting the clutch from CPP in a few days, iv made a cradle,have the belt ect..... my main thing im not sure of is the rear end do i have to remove the linkage witch i think is a Gov ?? |

Hmmm
Engine prep/inspect/oil fill Engine mounting/clutch align fuel system connections/pump linkages to throttle/choke exhaust plumbing/mounting muffler intake plumbing/air cleaner wiring to engine ignition/starter I think that is about how I did it. Oh wait, if you change the intake/exhaust you have to rejet it after you are done and it really helps to have the choke working to do that. Also I removed the governor from inside and cut off the crank and tapped it, in the engine prep. You can remove the side cover and do that before you fill it with oil and run it and still use the same gasket. This engine was run at factory or distributor, then they drained it. Don't forget the oil! That is why I put it in before or soon as I bolted it down. |
