Default Re: near completion 'missing steps' ?

Hmmm

Engine prep/inspect/oil fill
Engine mounting/clutch align
fuel system connections/pump
linkages to throttle/choke
exhaust plumbing/mounting muffler
intake plumbing/air cleaner
wiring to engine ignition/starter

I think that is about how I did it.

Oh wait, if you change the intake/exhaust you have to rejet it after you are done and it really helps to have the choke working to do that. Also I removed the governor from inside and cut off the crank and tapped it, in the engine prep. You can remove the side cover and do that before you fill it with oil and run it and still use the same gasket. This engine was run at factory or distributor, then they drained it. Don't forget the oil! That is why I put it in before or soon as I bolted it down.
