high idle
come on guys help me on this...
my 16hp vanguard seems to idle high...it closes up my comet 780 clutch,, i dont have a tach YET,, but was curious at what everyone briggs idle at... it surges just a little but runs fairly smooth,, it does still have the govenor on the motor... |

My 18 idles just under 1000 rpm, right around 950-970.

My Honda 20 idles at 1000. I have a clutch from CPP that has an ideler bearing in it.

thanks for yalls help... like i said i dont have a tach,,,yet,,,,, but it seems to be idling around 1500,, just going by listening,,,,
