Here's something to keep in mind,
Get it and mount a cart S/G on it. might have to play with the pulley sizes depending on the compression but then you also have an additional charging source.
Just something else to keep you up nights..........

Hello hello! Bulletin News Break! You are not gonna believe this but I found one of these local and I'm going to go see it maybe as soon as tomorrow. What should I look for? Are they all used? Hour meters installed? A starter is a must....I'm with crash - I like the idea of adapting the CC starter generator I have. This might be fun I have two Carryalls. One is a '99 carryall 1 and
a '00 Carryall 2. Both are quite the projects. No good motors in em so may be just right. What is the crankshaft directional rotation? Anyone still interested in this project?

I think I saw someone post a picture of one of these in their cart over on buggies unlimited. it look very wide - like touching the frame rails wide.

That is one of the things I am worried about... The guy who has this also has some 2 cylinder 'in the crate' opposing air cooled. I think the military used all 24 volt starters? But the guy said $300 for the engine with the starter Complete. Did I say he thought the 4 cyl was made by Wisonson for the govt. And the 2 cyl was by continental. I'm supposed to see it Saturday now.....
