Default Throttle Linkage

Anybody have any pics of Vanguard throttle and choke setup? Can I leave the governor on or should I. I fired it up and boy it sounds like a stock car. Gonna have to put some muffler on it. I am not sure where to put what cable and how they should be run.

Hey Chaz I believe you have the same setup as i do. On my engine if im standing on the clutch side looking at the engine theres a cable clamp on the right side back by the carb I hooked my choke cable up there. Stock location. on the left side by the govener theres another cable clamp. I rerouted my throttle cable to the front and hooked it in there. Theres a hole in the throttle linkage that goes over to the carb i drilled a bigger hole in the linkage and hooked my stock cable in there. real easy to do. Ill try to get some pics up before i install my new carb setup. With my new setup i will be diconnecting the govener. its not real fast with the govener but has tons of torque.
