You Have to remove the push rods and the lifters, the lifters are setting in the cam lobes, after they are removed then the cam should fall out. By the way that is a fantastic deer in your profile pic.

No I did not know I needed the push rods and the lifters I thought the cam gear would juts pull off and I just put the rev kit in and sealed the heads back up looks like I will be leaving the weight on the cam. If I leave them on does the extra weight affect the performance alot?

Re: What do I have to do to pull the cam out?
If you are going to install a HI Rev kit in then if I were you I would remove the weights off the cam. You are going to replace the push rods anyway so turn the engine upside down so the lifters will slide in the head and remove the cam. If you are not keeping the gov then you should also remove the gov arm and slider, Place stainless bolt and nut in the hole. When re installing just reverse the process.
