Has anyone machined a CC clutch to fit 1in shaft w/keyway. I know the clutch is tappered but can this be done

OH NO! FALSE INFO! LOL

Yes, Club Cars use a tapered shaft. I might order a clutch from ol Chinky McNoodle too.

I don't know if I am right but the shaft is 30mm with a 1:10 taper which is 1/8 bigger than a 1in shaft

Alrighty then, I have another question. Would it be easier to machine out my clutch or machine down the shaft? I don't really care about the clutch because it's 10 years old, but I don't want to void the warranty on the new engine. OR, I could order a new clutch to go with the new engine. A, B, or C?

I think its a great excuse to get a new, nice, big clutch. Easier too. It will just cost more.
