More power!!!
I have my honda 24hp apart and got to thinking, has anybody bored theirs out? I'm thinking 50 over and maybe shave the head a bit. Just wanted to know if anybody has done this and if it is worth it, and what performance increase I could expect.

Re: More power!!!
You don't get much from a tiny increase in displacement, unless your rings are shot losing you power. Cutting the head yes that always helps, see if you can port it a little some have cutter marks in the port you can take out but you can't port too much it is not thick enough...without welding it up. A good valve job might help, advance the timing, shim or get better valve springs so it does not float (rev kit), and sometimes a larger or better carb(s) can help. After that you have to look at cams and rods and flywheels.
