Default electric-gas possible swap

I have a 89 Marathon which has drowned and again been re-drowned in flooding upstate NY. The rule of the campground it's in is that it has to be electric, but i may possibly be buying land, so i want to do a gas engine swap. Never done it, don't know diddly squat about it, but i want to do it. I would like to use the existing rear end if possible, but i'd love to know what would be involved in doing it.
thanks

Do a search for gas electric conversions.
I and most will tell you to sell the electric and buy a gas cart.
It has been done but usually never hear anything positive about the outcome.
Parts, Machine shop time and cost will be high and end result performance seems to never be what the builder has hopes of.

I give it two thumbs down.........post plenty of pics if you do it.

This one was Electric, but,,,,thousands of manhours and thousands of dollars later this is what I came up with. I know this is not what your looking to do but I go along with everyone else, buy a gas cart.
