Default my big block build

i am finally big blocking my cart. i found a good used 18hp briggs on ebay for $455 shipped to the door. although i was so excited about doing this i didnt pay attention to a lot of details on the engine. once i got it i realized it didnt have the starter solenoid and no rectifier. no big deal though, i already talked to tom at cpp about getting a new stator, coils, and a rectifier. i have already installed the rev kit from tom and removed the gov. but, during the process of removing the sling weights and compression release from the cam, i pretty much trashed the cam. i scared it up some grinding down the rivets and knocked out the end ball out the end of the cam. so, now i will be getting a new cam for it. i have also almost finished my carrier. i did get in my clutch today do now i can work on motor and belt alignment.

B, get it in and get it running. You can always pretty it up later.....and watch those little oil O rings when you put it back together.
