Smile Yamaha rear sprocket help ?

Hi , I'm in the midst of installing a Yamaha R6 2007 engine into my 1995 yamaha petrol cart and looking for help in a couple of areas
1. Will the standard rear diff cope with the power ? , is there a governor on the axle ?
2. Any suggestions on gearing & can a sprocket and carrier be fitted to the standard input shaft ?? Help in sourcing these parts would also help.

I have come up with a bearing support for the shaft once sprocket has been fitted.

Thanks Guys

Scoopster, all the questions you could ever ask are answered in the bike engine section. Spend some time looking at what we've built, there are links to every part you need for the swap.

I believe I am onto something big! I found a 19 spline coupling for a ezgo that may solve our problems with adapting a sprocket to the input shaft of our Yamaha read ends. Google search it, just type ezgo motor coupling 19 spline. I'll be ordering mine soon and if it fits I'll weld it to a CBR 600 front sprocket 525 chain. My GSXR 750 will be running soon...
