How do you take the Spider?? off the shaft on the EZ-Go driven clutch assembly? Removed the End and the Black Cover and can take the weights off but do not know how the rest of the clutch comes apart?? I need to take apart and clean and polish all the moving parts and slides any tips would be great!!

You should pull the clutch off the motor to do that... use a 3/4 inch fine thread bolt as the *pusher* and a small diameter socket as the *plug* to push the clutch off the shaft after you pull the retaining capscrew (bolt) out of the center..should be a 9/16" capscrew.

I use a 10 mm metric socket 1/4'' drive as my plug, the 3/4 inch fine thread bolt will have to be about at least 1 1/2 inch long depending on your *plug* length.

Sorry I should have said I already have the clutch off the motor, I need to know how to take the clutch apart. How do I remove the sheave that moves? The sheave that moves is blocked from sliding off by the spider thing with the arms that keeps the sheave from spinning and limits travel and that the spring pushes against. Is this piece pressed on or does it thead on?
