Default newby to golf carts. bb swap homemade lift. idvice is nice

Hey there, I have done alot of projects over the years. Large and small. Recently picked up an ez go for 50 bucks. Fuel pump and carb were horrible shape. Low compression as well. I just happen to have a brand new 20 hp honda WHOO HOO! So I will be putting it in. I will also be making a lift for it.I would appreciate any info you guys have. The ultimate goal for this is to have something I can use around the house,Trails at the cabin, and bring wood back with me. Nothing too crazy. Oh and I HATE buying something I can build myself.

Not sure what year. The ser # is a Jacobsen # so couldnt track it down. It is a four stroke.

I sure will. The last big project I did was 4 years ago. Make A Wish contacted me to build a buggy for a kid with duchenes. I made the entire thing joystick controlled. It was an amazing experience.

That one looks alot like my EZ-GO GXT-804 (marathon based vehicle) if thats the engine youre going to use youll need to get the collar piece from Cart Parts Plus because your honda is a straight shaft, and the clutch is probably going to be tapered. i just tore mine all apart to put in a 10HP yanmar diesel engine. i have a new 4" block lift i wont use that i'd sell if youre interested. i have done alot of lurking on here and have learned alot. if you have questions, ask away. john.ellsworth@nov.com

Thanks for the offer on the lift but I would likr to build it. Altho if you have any need for the old motor/wiring/parts you are welcome to them.

As far as the other buggy not sure if its okay to post them in here but here they are. oh and the start to a lift too.
