Default What cam for my 18HP?

I'm looking at CPP's cam. Any other suggestions? I'm putting in a rev kit in addition. I really don't think I want to go too radical and have to start cutting valve guides, etc. I want good power down low. Thanks!

Will I see a noticeable difference with the cam, rev kit, and header? I'd like to think so..

You can look at places like NR racing and Precision Cams, they make stuff for lawnmower racing who seems to run the twins more. Make sure the valvetrain is right for the cam you use, and if you need to have comp release to get it started on the starter some engines have a problem with that. You need to know what rpm you need power at. They usually really come alive with a cam, though most cams run more rpm than stock. Some engines I've looked at they say stock cam makes the most power under say 3K rpm, above that you can improve a lot, but depends on your use. You may have to adjust the clutches to take advantage of more power at higher rpm.
