Talking Kohler V Build

I'm going to put a 20hp Kohler v in a elect cart I was given,can anyone send me a pic of a four stroke rear end with reverse,I'm new to this,but its gonna happen

There are pics all over the place on the forum for what a gasser rear looks like.

It would help if you posted info about the cart you got for free.

You are going to need a lot more than just a rear end, an engine cradle and clutch that will fit your Kohler, and an ez go gas rear is not going to just pop in a yamaha or club car.

I found a place online that is selling complete rear ends with an aux. output shaft, WITH brakes etc, for less than three hundred new, plus shipping, thn you have to find a clutch for the rear..

Oh , you will need a clutch for you r rear end too..

sounds very cool, I love Kohlers and some pics would just be peachy.

People here are really helpful!! Thanks!! Sorry I haven't been real clear on things.It's a EZ-Go cart,I know it will be a lot of work,but I love a challenge!!The eng. is old but only has a couple hours been in a barn for about 10 yrs. Here is a pic..

Did you measure that crankshaft ?


There is an *opposed twin* (what you have) build or two on here, you should do a search for "opposed twin" and "opposed twin build": and you will see what I mean.

That looks like a beast, I have an engine with a crankshaft that fat, I have to get it machined down.
