Default big block swap question!!!

Ok not sure how to start this but I am putting a arctic cat zr500 into my marathon with custom 3 link and a-arm front suspension, anyway I have got alot of info of this website and you guy are GREAT! So here is my question everything I found about belt length when doing searches said 12.5-13.5 inches center to center, I set the starting point at 13" and belt was 3-4 inches to short (the stock ezgo marathon belt). I've been on here for about 3 hours after I set the motor today doing searches on belt lengths and seen there are belts out there I can get different lengths but what I am afaird of is that my motor can't go much further back with redoing my entire suspension!! can somebody please help me on belt lengths!! SORRY FOR SUCH A STUPID QUESTION but I couldn't find the answer after hours of searching!!

Ok I found 42 inch but any ideas ANYBODY on width I am running a comet clutch on the arctic cat motor and a polaris clutch on the ez go rear end, should 1 3/16 or 1 1/4 or does that little amount not really matter?

daffyfreeze, If you need one, I have the above belts new in my garage before I found the belt that I needed. The m2's are 1 3/16 and the M3 is a 1 1/4. I installed a CVTech80 which handles both belts but not sure yet if my OEM Secondary clutch will allow them all the way down to the shaft for maximum RPMs. Fstg21 says that he can machine the Secondary to make it work if it does not. I will be able to test this weekend by marking it and seeing how far the belt travels.

It's up to you...I am not going to use them and they are new. I hoped to give them to people here who will trade off in donations to the forum.
