Default Eletric to Big block

Im switching this electric limo bar cart to a big block Honda kit. I stripped every thing out of the cart and realized the frame is narrower on the ele. compaired to the gas donner cart. I think Ill have to cut them both off at the floor board roll and weld it in again. but I'm worryed about the strength this carts is heavy. anybody ever done anything like this before. here's a pick of the limo bar cart.

A limo bar cart?? Holy crap. Any more pics of that thing??

So is it an EZGo? Custom frame? Or??

Seems like all you'd need to do is use the springs on the cart already & mount new spring perches on the gas rear diff.

I cut the rear clip out of the bar cart and the doner cart and switched them the gas engine would'nt fit between the frame rails of the electric. the frame rails narrow in under the seat to allow the batteries on the outside of the frame the electric frame is ten inches narrower than the gas. I got the gas clip in now. I need to put a couple bolts in to hold it together and take it to get welded back together but I need a fuel tank first the doner one had a cracked filler neck and the tank needs to be in before they weld it or it wont fit in since the body is not removable .

The istallation kit came with an adapter to install it on the flywheel side for the CC.

Wow. We don't see that often. In fact, there was one on here... I believe it was a cart for sale on Craigslist. One of the comments on it was that the bearings on that end of the crank were not made to support the clutch.

But if there is a kit available for it, seems like it should be fine. Who's kit was it?

That bar limo body is sweet. Hope it's a lot of fun for you guys.

They use the same motor for repowering old John Deere tractors like the JD 318. The rear of the motor has the drive shaft attached to it and the front runs the front PTO. I would imagine a tractor being much more abusive to a motor like that than a cart would, but at any rate there shouldn't be any problem mounting it like that.

On a side note, you may want to correct the spelling of Electric in the title so people can have an easier time searching for this thread.

Great build. Keep up the great work.
