Clone header bolt
I've asked a couple of friends on here & thought I'd ask everyone.I removed a header bolt on my 420CS clone & the threads came out with it.Should I try tapping it,heli-coil, or what. It's a 340 head but probably doesn't matter,I got to get it fixed before the 19th.thankshookm

Heli-coil if there is enough there to do it. Might as well do them both. Don't use stainless bolts, use at least grade 8 with some anti-seize. Run the engine, get it Good and warmed up and re-check them.

Sure hope so. Is this the same head that you had problems with last time? |
