Honda Big Block conversion problems
I have purchased and installed the Honda Big Lock conversion kit into my workhorse. I have had nothing but trouble with it. I think that I have an electrical problem. When I can get it cranked, I have to mash down on the passenger seat to get it to run at all while riding. It will only go a little ways before cutting off and I cant restart it. Has anyone elase had this problem?

What is mashing down on the passenger seat doing?

Re: Honda Big Block conversion problems
It causes it to start running right for a little bit then it seems to do no good.

Re: Honda Big Block conversion problems
I understand that but what is it doing to the motor or the electric or the fuel supply, man?
Certainly nothing in the upholstery is connected to the ignition? I had a client with an intermittent cart that wouldn't run unless he kicked the tire.... Turns out he had a loose wire connection and the shacking from kicking the tire made the connection better. |

Re: Honda Big Block conversion problems
That is what I cant figure out. It has to change the angle of the motor or gas tank some how. I wonder about the oil sending unit or the fuel cut selonoid being bad. I am going to re wire everything and check all grounds. It has really beenlike chasing a ghost.

Re: Honda Big Block conversion problems
Those are sometimes the hardest problems to find, but it has to simple if the seat fixes it?

Re: Honda Big Block conversion problems
no nothing like that is on the seat so it has to change the angle some way or help with a connection somewhere. I have checked everything I can think of

Re: Honda Big Block conversion problems
You just have to figure out what the seat is doing to change the situation... is it restricting the intake airflow? That could make a mixture change ...
