Default G29 clutch by team with 18hp vtwin

I am wanting to keep my gen/starter like stock cart. Since this clutch is made by team and it says rapid responce on it. Should not this operate like there other Team clutches? May be just not as high of hp rating. I'm only using 18hp stoch honda.

That might be a Drive clutch, try looking up posts or asking about them. I don't know much about them yet other than they are a new design. Someone does make a kit for Drives, a performance clutch kit. Smallblock450sl might know.

Not a real fan of these "low end" Team clutchs. But, There is a company (not a site sponsor, but very well versed in clutchs and belts), that makes a kit for Yamaha primary and secondary Team clutch set up's. Tom @ www.cartspartsplus.com sent me one to try out. I have installed the new rollers/weights and the spring (the stock primary doesn't have a spring) but have yet to install the new secondary spring and test it on a car. Will the stock clutch work well? Can't awnser that. If it fits on the Honda crank, give it a go.

The only problem I would have to cut the shaft so short that I will not be able to use my other clutch if it doen't work.
