Default Is this motor good for BB swap

Is this the correct motor to use for 2000 ezgo big block swap

16hp B&S V-twin
model #303447
Type- 1368-E1
code- 03122311
30 CID, horizontal shaft*

Shaft Size
length - 2-29/32"
diameter- 1"
drilled and tapped - 3/8"-24

I can get motor for $300,, can I use my stock ezgo clutch or will I need to use comet or other.... Also what would be a good asking price for my perfect running stock 295cc ezgo motor

Perfect engine to use and decent price too.Call CPP and get a clutch-adapter and you can use your stock-clutch.Not sure on the price for the Original-Motor though.

No I havent but plan on doing it this winter when we arent using the cart. I wasnt planning on using my stock clutch either. I was looking at this combo on ebay #230821415644. Its a Comet knockoff(probably chinese?) that should work. You can get this driver from someone else on ebay for less. There may be some naysayers here on its quality but can they be any worse than using chinese Honda GX copies?

i got mine for $50 bucks older model but same ID # your stock clutch should fit but you have to cut the shaft on your bb to the same length of your stock motor (i think) not completely sure about the shaft cutting thing ....lol
