??? on engine swap

First, I have looked over the forums and seen the discussions regarding the HF 420cc engine and the Lifan from HD.

My question is: Has anyone put a bigger/different engine in a 1987 EZGO?

I am looking for this particualr year swap since I have NEVER done this and want an the easiest, most exact example to follow. My wife and kids want to ride in this thing for Holloween trick or treating in the neighborhood and I don't think I have time to buy it and figure it out by then.

ALL HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!

P.S. I had planned on doing a rebuild of the old seized 2PG engine, but time will kill me on that since I am not sure what is all wrong with it.

The one thing you need to be aware of is the differential in the 2 stroke cart is not a shifting or reversible differential, the 2 stroke motor changes direction which is something the 4 stroke motor can not do so basically you won't have reverse...... keep us posted on what you decide to do
