16hp Vanguard Crankshaft Too Short???
Hi everyone, i am almost done putting a 16hp vanguard in my 94 ezgo, but i seem to have a problem. I have a 780 clutch, which fits on my crank, but my crank is only about 3" long, and the clutch sticks out more than that.... do i just get a really long bolt? or is my crank abnormally short?

Your crank is the correct length, get the length bolt you need. Usually you need a spacer behind the clutch about 3/4" long.

I have also used washers, they also allow a little adjustment.
