Default Roller Clutch from CPP Question

Ok,
I have a honda gx670 that used to have a comet clutch. The previous owner of this cart replaced that clutch with a Roller clutch (Team Industries) from CPP. Now the idle is a little higher and of course the cart is very responsive but shifting the cart can be very difficult as it appears the cart in gear and will roll when brakes are released. The cart will also die when you put it in gear unless the cart has warmed up.

My question has to do with this clutch..... Where do I start? Lower the idle? Check the distance between clutches? Can you adjust the internal mechanism of this clutch?

Any ideas, thoughts greatly appreciated.

Tom

Essness has your same exact setup, you could probably get the best answer from him.

Search Essness under members and chase him down and send him a pm

Actually, I have a CVTech clutch from CPP. It's not a roller but has an idler bearing in it. I had trouble shifting as well so Tom at CPP suggested this clutch and it's worked great.
I would suggest try lowering the idle a little bit. Honda's need to warm up before they will idle properly.

Good luck!
