Default Big Block Generac in Yamaha G-20

Well guys after a year or so with this engine GTH 990 32hp Generac. It's starting, I got a lot of parts ordered today, and will be getting started in a couple of weeks when everything gets here.

I ordered a clutch from Tom @ CPP 1 1/8 shaft Team G I think Rated for 100hp. HD belt and rear clutch spring.

1- New Mikuni HSR 42mm carb. from E-Bay great deal $230.00 and free shipping.

Intake and adapter for Mikuni from Mike with the Mud Boat guys.

Exhaust tubing for 2 into 1 custom header from Borla.

I still need to get an alternator and make some kind of a mounting bracket for it and add a pully on the crank for it.
When I get it started I'll get pic's along the way and keep them posted. Wish me luck, and if any body has any suggestions they will be welcomed.

Thanks for watching, LURCH!!!!!!

Good for you! Some builds just take longer, expecially one of a kind builds. I'll be watching and learning. Let the madness begin

I can't wait to not feel like I've got a target on my back, out on the main roads. Even though I can run 30 to 34 mph on level ground when I hit the steep inclines I'm down to 8 to 10 mph with no place to pull off most of the time.
I want know what to think!!!!!!!

Just wait for that first road-trip and you blast up those hills, then it'll all be worth it!When I did the Opposed-Swap,I wasn't real happy on the first ride,it didn't feel much stronger than the original, then I turned the clutches up a bit,and took it in the trails.OH-BOY!!!!No Comparison!!!

I'll post it in the for sale section but if anyone is interested my stock 2001 Yamaha 301cc engine and everything on it will be for sale. I'm thinking around 500.00 OBO, new coil and plug wire, rebuilt carb, rebuilt starter/generator, clutch and belt. It has a Plowmans life time filter (like a K&N) and jet kit, modified air box, starts and runs great. I can run about 30/34 mph @ around 4K rpm's in my Limo cart with, stock gears,23" tires, windshield and 2 adults.

Thanks, LURCH!!!!!!
