Re: Honda GX610 Timing Advance Key ??s
I would stay with a shallow cut such as a 10 deg. for normal use. The other keys are for higher revving motors. The stock rods in the honda 610,620 and 670 are pretty strong, but I don't trust them over 5500 rpm for long runs. 10 deg. is plenty of timing for 5000 - 5500 rpm. There are many opinions on this, but the 10 deg, key will run smooth at idle as well as 5500. If you don't have a rev kit, get one before you try to run that over 4000 rpm,you don't want valve float that can cause damage.
